Excellent product, great quality. no room for improvement.
This was easy to install just needed a jack and if you have a towing package you will most Likly need to take it off but other then that it did the job. Got the look I wanted and it rides smoother if you keep your stock shocks.. Strongly recommend it if you just want to level your rear end.
After first buying some cheap (junk) shackles off ebay, only to find that they didnt fit & seemed weak & cheesy. I purchased a set of 2" drop shackles from McGaughy, should of done this in the first place .... alittle more expensive but when comparing them to the ebay ones, you can see why they cost a little more. Perfect fit & instructions. Thanks.
When I removed my Stock OEM rear coils springs from my 2011 Ram 1500 ,and had them side by side I was a little worried because the McGaughy coil spring was a hair higher than the original coils. But after installing the McGaughy coil spring set the trucks rear did drop 2 inches just like the add said it should. The springs fit perfect and did what they said they would.
Kit lifted my truck right where I wanted it to be. Installation wasn't to hard. I did it in my garage with jack stands.
I just installed these on my Tahoe after lowering with a kit from the same company, I have only used them one time so far but they worked great. The manufacturer of these bags is Firestone, I have used the Air Lift 1000 in the past, but these Firestone's are far better, stronger, better lines, and better fittings. A little high on the price though.
I wanted to level my 2012 4X4 GMC 1500, everyone told me I had to raise the front end, however I wanted to lower the rear. This product fit the bill perfectly for my needs. Installation requires the loosing of the factory trailer hitch and the 8 bed bolt to get the factory shackle bolts removed and reinstalled after you have the shackle swapped out. Plan how much you want to lower your rear before starting or you will not be happy doing it twice. Otherwise installed in a couple of hours with common tools.
My dad has been wanting to lower his 04 hemi 4x4 for a while but wouldn't commit to a bigger kit, so i talked him into the shackles. He loves the way it look but he'll probably go more in a few years.
