As a family, we were very impressed with the machinery which was used to check our eyes, very thorough examination, explained very clearly by the optician, it was great to be shown on a TV screen how healthy the back of your eye is. Would highly recommend Eyetech as we've been to other opticians in Coventry and have never had this experience before.

I had an eye test in 2022 at EyeTech with Mr Amrit Ubhi . I paid the extra £40.00 for the Optomap scan. The Optomap picked up an image that could have been anything, but wasn't quite normal. Mr Ubhi referred me for an urgent appointment at UHCW. They were not sure what it was so referred me on to a specialist hospital in Sheffield, the Royal Hallamshire Hospital. Initially it was thought to be a mole, but after several scans (all on the same day) it was found to be a malignant melanoma. I was monitored for 2 years, as it wasn't known how long I had had it, as I hadn't had an eye test for 8 years!. In 2024 I underwent an intensive course of Proton Bean Therapy in Liverpool. Today I am in remission. If I had not gone to EyeTech and had the OCT scan things might be different. Today I went back to EyeTech for a routine check and to thank them and especially Mr Ubhi for his quick response in getting me referred. They truly are an amazing service who I cannot recommend enough.

Eyetech provides a first class service and use cutting-edge technology for the very best eye care, examinations and treatments. As a glasses wearer for the last 20 years, I can say this is the best service I have ever received from an optometrist. All appointments are relaxed an un-rushed and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My last appointment picked up a serious eye condition that was not picked up by previous eye tests at other providers.
