Purchased this on the recommendation of my trainer. The web site was easy to navigate and order from and the price was comparable to Amazon and with purchases like this I would rather buy direct than through a 3rd party. Remote and receiver seem like good quality construction. I am new to e-collars and therefor cannot tell you too much but I have been able to use it with a little bit of training from a professional trainer. I do wish there was a design that made the use easier for both left and right handed operation. If the readout was on the top of the unit it might be better but I'm inexperienced so there may be a reason it's designed the way it is I am sure that other more seasoned professionals have contributed to the design of this.

my second collar from Dogtra so far its been great. I tried another popular bran and only got 1 year use and it wont work any longer

The 282C is a good collar. The box did say limited lifetime warranty, but it doesn't have one. It is a 2 year warranty. Dogtra should take that off the box. Other than that Dogtra is the only remote collar we use for our dog training business. DogtraUSA had good prices and service too.

I have 2 e-collars that have been in service for about 8 years. Replaced the batteries, that's about it! When you call usually ships out the same day. Great service and products.

When I received the wrong item. They quickly responded. I received the correct item in a few days and return label for the incorrect item.

Dummy collar worked like a charm... Keeps my dogs from barking when on.. Extra collars fit my regular dogtra perfect which is great with multiple dogs they love to chew collars.. So extra collars are a must for me... Love the color choices too.

happy that after about 6 years of working beautifully, I only had to replace the batteries in my unit and not the whole thing. batteries arrived quickly and after the switch, my collar and remote also up to speed again.

Works as advertised. The company shipped the battery quickly and emailed a video link to me that showed me exactly what I needed to replace the battery and instruction on exactly how to do it. E-collar works like new again ...thank you!

I got a two used RR Delux receivers, and neither battery would hold a charge more than 8 hours. I looked online and in town for replacement batteries but couldn't beat Dogtra on price and delivery. both batteries charged right up and these ones hold the charge quite well. Love their products.
