We recently purchased a water filter for our GE refrigerator. We normally purchase them locally but were paying about $20 more per filter and having to hunt for one in stock. So, with these filters I'm always a bit skeptical of knockoffs that don't filter out as many chemicals as the legitimate product by GE. Especially when they are going for half the price. This filter does look slightly different than my last GE filter so I'm not 100% sure it's a legitimate GE MWF filter. But my guess is the labeling changed and it is a genuine GE MWF filter.
