I highly recommend Juris Education to any prospective law school applicant. My admissions counselor is amiable, prompt, and possesses impeccably discerning judgment that was a tremendous asset throughout the admissions process. During Stage 1, she helped me to reach the realization that deferring law school by a year was the best option. She provided me with valuable insights and suggestions on how to shape my professional and extracurricular development, during the interim period, in ways that greatly enhanced my personal and professional growth. The greatest challenge I faced when applying to law school was my LSAT score; while I had a competitive GPA from a T-25 undergraduate institution, I could not replicate the 90th percentile scores that I consistently achieved on LSAT practice tests on the day of the LSAT. Despite this challenge, I was able to get accepted to my top choice (T-25) law school with a 25th percentile LSAT score and a median GPA. I firmly believe her feedback on my essays availed my LSAT score, and that my essays ultimately gained me acceptance into my top choice. The core task of the Personal Statement is effective communication. She and I worked together to calibrate my essays / supplemental questions (for each individual school) in ways that would resonate effectively with diverse audiences. After comparing the first draft of my Personal Statement to the final product, I was amazed at how the latter conveyed my achievements and motivations in such a superior way than the former. Ada removed the detritus from my writing - enabling me to convey a compelling and concise message, and helped my genuine voice and humanity to resonate throughout my essays. In sum, she is an excellent mentor and a pleasure to work with.

I came into this tutoring program a skeptic, I thought I knew what I needed already. My Juris tutor really did break down the materials and teach me how to understand the test itself. My tutor was amazing and so open to helping me. My tutoring hours ended right before the test (mine ended Thursday and my test was saturday). I personally wished I had more time to practice implementing everything before I took the test - If you are like that, start the program early!!

I had an amazing experience working with Juris. Wanted to pivot out of my job, I reached out to Juris early in the process, more than a year before the deadlines. During our initial assessment, they provided pivotal advice that proved critical to my admission success, including retaking my LSAT and beefing up my pro-bono experience. Juris Education was absolutely critical to my success in the application process and has been nothing short of amazing since the minute I met them. I started late in the process for 2021 applications (I hadn't even started studying for the LSAT in July!) and only wanted to apply to a few schools. I wasn't sure I could get into a single one, but with Juris' help, I was accepted to Yale, UC Berkeley, and U Mich with a full scholarship to one.

Part of the reason I wasn't confident in my chances was that I didn't believe I had a story to tell. But one of the key differentiators with Juris' approach was the personal story call--a session over two hours long during which my counselor listened to me talk about my life experiences and took notes. I've always thought that I have a very disjointed set of experiences that I couldn't weave into a compelling story, but she found threads that I hadn't been able to see. Her thoughtfulness, insightfulness, and background in journalism make her uniquely talented at this. Throughout the process, she challenged me to highlight different experiences and aspects of my story that not only improved my essays but also helped me really understand my own motivations for business school and my career. By the end of the application cycle, I felt like I had an impactful narrative that was authentically mine.

Juris also really personalized their approach. When I changed my first choice school to Yale, my counselor went into the Juris archives to see what previous applicants who were accepted into Yale had done with their applications so she could give me data-driven guidance on how to improve my own application. She suggested I write the Optional Essay and also suggested that I touch on a pivotal but personally traumatic experience I had described to her during our personal story call. I was reluctant to cover such a personal topic in a law school essay, but she helped me see how the story was in service of my larger narrative. She reviewed the essay as well, went back into the archives to see if other applicants had covered such personal topics and been successful, and never made me feel pressured into writing something I wasn't comfortable sharing with an admissions committee. It turned out to be a really great essay thanks to her guidance, and on a personal level, she helped me come to terms with a story that I had never really shared before.

Besides being a rockstar admissions consultant, Juris has some of the kindest, warmest, and loveliest people I have had the pleasure of working with. I am eternally grateful for their time, attention, and help.
