Last year my sister bought my Mothers cake, but not what my Mother loves (which is strawberry) but what she liked. This year my sister also moved away and I so wanted my Mother to have a cake and the type she loved! Thank goodness I found you on the net! Perfect - I had reservations about ordering a cake from an unknown online bakery, but I was overwhelmingly surprised at this great cake. First of all I judge food on how well it is presented. I look at decoration, texture, placement of decorations. This cake looked just like the picture, it was beautiful with a beautiful professional design and very well decorated edges and sides. The icing was evenly placed and the writing on it was perfect. Then there was the taste! It tasted sooo good! The icing almost melted in your mouth. The cake was very moist and soft. The icing was rich and sweet and the cake a very rich chocolate flavor. I can't wait to try the cookies!
