2007-2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4wd 7"-9" Adjustable Lift Kit - McGaughys 50720
The lift it self is great, built extremely well and fit together great! The instructions were very poorly written and need more description. The only problem with the components was the brake line relocating brackets were about 3 inches too short(had to make new ones). I had two of us(very experienced) working on it, with any tool you could want or need and it took us about 13hrs. I set it at 9 inches and had the AAL for the rear. It rides a little stiffer, but it is a truck. I put 35.5x13 tires with 20x12 wheels with a -44 offset and needed to trim the front valance and push back the inner fender well liners. Overall EXTREMELY HAPPY and get all kinds of compliments.

I got this lowering kit from the owners of McGaughys in 2013 and still to this day I'm running it and haven't had the first issue with it!! The spindles are very heavy duty and are a breeze to swap (you will have to barely trim your brake shield), the flipkit and shackles are also an easy swap just make sure you get the pressure of the leaf springs before removing bolts and be sure to torque everything back to factory specs. I stand by McGaughys with their products and definitely recommend this kit to anyone wanting a small drop on their Ram!

I had this kit on my 2012 single cab Silverado with a 5.3. I had it set for 4/6 and it rode amazingly well. I didn't do a c notch and I never hit bump stops driving around. Hauling something in the bed or towing would definitely require the helper bags. But for just a daily driver this suspension kit is the best.

over the years I have owned many trucks from minis to full size to classic. I've used multiple manufacturers for lowering my trucks. Mcgaughy by far has the best product to date. Quality alone stands above the rest. I recently bought a 2015 Silverado Reg Cab short box for my new toy. Doing the research I normally do I found that Mcgaughy made the only drop spindle for these trucks worth buying. And as usual, I am not surprised by the amazing craftsmanship that they put into their products. The rear flip kit was also built really well and install was a breeze (minus a minor issue with the fuel tank location on the RCSB). After everything was installed and torques to spec, it rides as good if not better than the stock suspension. I highly recommend this product.

Love this lift, I have had it on my 2014 Silverado 1500 4x4 for 6 months now and still rides great not to mention looks great. Installation only took my shop about 4-5 hours to install and McGaughys came highly recommended by their employees who had a similar lift on their trucks. No cutting , welding, nothing. Just install. If you are like me and order online, the UPS guy will probably ask for you to help get it outa his truck haha parts are very heavy. 100% satisfied with this lift and its aesthetics . Simply a beautiful, functional, affordable lift. Hope my review helps make your decision easier, ps. I have mine set at 8" and its almost to high in the front, I'd probably set the front at 7" or if you go 8" , add the extra leaf spring to give it just a slight rake. Good luck!
