Two year old Emily wanted to meet Rudolph’s bros and sistahs so Mummy, Daddy & Nana drove three hours south of their Osoyoos BC home to Leavenworth WA to visit them. Emily walked down Reindeer Road to the mixed reindeer, free ranging chickens and two fat blackmpigs) proudly wearing her pretty Active Baby size 7 boots (Christmas gift from Nana of Nova Scotia). Emily enjoyed feeding and mixing with a dozen supervised reindeer. Rudolph was absent that day ... tired out from his exertions of leading the Sleigh Christmas Eve. One reindeer (think it was Donner or Blitzen) was delighted with Emily and followed her; it may have been the Reindeer pellets Emily had in a small bowl. Little children appear to have an unseen bond with animals. A memorable day New Years Eve!
