Chartreuse Reindeer Moss

I used an old Ikea shadowbox frame and added eyehole screws evenly around the inside, then strung some fishing line to create a loose mesh, then I added the airplants, moss and a spiral shell and finished the outside of the frame with some iridescent sequined ribbon.

Tillandsia Red Abdita Air Plants [3 Pack]

Most of my air plants are from "air plant shop". Some have bloomed and most are having babies/pups to continue on filling up my north facing window. I have been doing this for 4 years now and love them and have received many compliments. I have also been able to share the pups ( baby plants) with friends and family.
I soak them faithfully in distilled water once a week and feed them with special plant food once a month. Truly has been a wonderful hobby and delight for me!

We use Air Plants a lot more than succulents, as they are easier to care for. I had some larger ones left over from an order, (smaller ones were used as favors). I had these 2 head vases that I never quite had the right thing to go into them until now!
