1,250lb Protein Stand & Fill®
I own (4) ASF protein feeders. This is the first Stand & Fill new design. It's better than my other (3) old style 1000 lb galvanized in my opinion for a few reasons.
1) It can feed from all 4 sides.
2) It has a perforated bottom of the feeding tray so water doesn't sit and ruin the feed.
3) The sharp slope of the feed chutes will make it difficult for coons to park and waste feed all night.
One note worth mentioning, it holds right at 1000 lbs of deer protein pellets. ASF does openly state the 1250 lbs is for corn due to the variety of protein sizes.
So in summary, it's an awesome 1000 lb protein feeder.

After searching for a new bbq pit for a long time. I found ASF pits. As certified pipe welder I know what I’m looking for. I know I could have built one myself. Time is money though. The ASF quality is top notch. This is coming from a very picky guy. I also purchase a cover and smoke gasket. The gasket works well but also made me notice one of my lids is bent slightly it hasn’t bugged me enough to fix it yet. If your in the market for a new pit look no further. Don’t buy those overpriced back yard pipe crap! ASF has got it figured out you won’t be disappointed.

The Hammer - Electric Protein Converter
Purchased four of these at the Houston Texas Trophy Hunters show in Aug. 17. They were easy to set up with the instructions provided. We used multiple feed heads and feeders and got them all to match up. Programming the timer is simple and easy. We placed these on feeders that were already in use, so the deer were on them quickly and had no trouble adjusting to them. The bucks tend to dominate the feeders and are waiting for them to go off. The does will move in after the bucks leave and finish off the rest. So far it has worked flawlessly and we have had no problems with it. The best thing about it is that it cuts down on waste from a lot of nocturnal animals like raccoons, wild hogs, javelinas and even coyotes. The only problem you will have is adjusting the open and close times to regulate the amount of feed you plan to feed and the money you want to spend doing it.

I have the largest pit ASF offers, the 48" x 20" BBQ Pit w/ Firebox & Smoker, and this got my smoker box to 225 without even trying. I was merely trying to use my middle grill, got the fire going with some wood, threw this on for the first time, and the whole thing heated up very well. I highly recommend!

My father and I "upgraded" 6 feeders to The Timer. They do function well however they ALL seem to gain about seven minutes every seven days. So in 4 weeks the clock is off by almost a half an hour. That makes the first feed time before sunrise if we don’t keep an eye on the clocks. Is there a fix for this?
