I'm a sailor and beach advocate. I'm always outside and rely on my weather station to plan my day and remotely understand the weather patterns of the day. I was so disappointed when my station would not display outside temperature. Other outside measurements like UV, wind, and rain worked perfectly.
I dreaded the cost of a new station. I've explored and owned other brand-named stations, but appreciate the design behind Ambient over the others that also failed.
Inspection of the old 5000-Array really revealed what the central Florida sun can do to outdoor hardware. Things do not last long in the Florida sun.
I was very pleased that purchasing only the Array was an option. The exchange was was 'almost' plug-n-play, with the only challenge of diving deep into the configuration setting and deleting the old Array ID and then allowing the new Array to be found. Instructions specific to "Array Replacement" would be a-plus! (take note Ambient!)
The station is working perfectly once again!

Bought this unit thinking I was upgrading to a better overall unit with a better display visually and easier setup. Not !!
The display is better visually than the original version as far as being able to see it from angles or distance but the setup takes an expert from customer support. Jordan from technical support was magnificent. Very knowledgeable and patient. Many thanks are in order.
