I was a little concerned about so many 14 inch section being wobbly, but the fit very tight so that they all become a very solid pole. I have three sections 35" mast extensions together, & it has held up so far in 40 mph gusts so far.

It is a good station. Not great, just good. Wish the screen was larger. It isn't possible to read from across the room. Keys feel cheap. The outdoor sensor mysteriously lost connection one day after weeks being connected. The color changing is strange, there needs to be far more contrast.
The moon cycle is gorgeous. I like the predicted weather. The guts behind the device are fantastic - Ambient makes great devices (just bad software and instructions).
As with all Ambient weather devices, the whole thing feels like it was programmed years ago. Key presses are completely counterintuitive (you will have to keep the instruction manual nearby). The instructions are needlessly complicated, written more like engineering papers for weather station geeks (this is a consumer product unlike the weather stations - the whole temperature and barometer calibration discussion is needless, relative pressure should be easy to understand, it is not).

The WS-2000 station performed perfect for my purpose. Accuracy seems spot on. Easy install and connected to WU with no problem. Only issue was connecting to Ambient weather thru their App on google play. Will not open with my phone, but WU works great wit it.The display is very pleasing on the eyes. Overall a great unit!

Wish it had a bigger display console and easier to read at all angles like the old ws7079 model. Small display console is hard to read without me wearing my glasses. Plus it has no dewpoint displayed unless you hit a series of buttons. Pain in the butt to do that every half hour

Nice, works great. One tip, get it assembled, put it on your rain guage tighten up the band clamp, take it off and pull it a little more tight 1/4 and it should fit pretty snug when re-installed..
