I really like this bike, I have traveled over 300 km and I feel good. I changed the tires because I wanted them a little wider and with a reflective strip. Let's get to the criticisms: too expensive. And 25 km/h are slow for out of town routes. I did not know that the 2019 models no longer allow you to reach the speed of 35 km/h even "forcing" through the app under your own responsibility. I think I will change the saddle because it does not have a good anti-prostatitis support. It would have been better if the adjustment button was accessible while riding the bicycle

Hohe Verarbeitungsqualität, super Fahrgefühl, entspanntes Ankommen - mein Curt gebe ich nicht mehr her! Für die Väter und Mütter hier: ich habe einen Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini am Lenker angebracht und fahre jeden morgen meine Tochter in die Kita. Es ist etwas eng (ihr Helm stößt an meine Brust), eine Tour würde ich so nicht fahren wollen, aber für kurze Wege kein Problem!

Shock Adsorbers for the Front Wheel would be nice! The battery Could habe a Little more capacity.But otherwise a Great Bike. Hardly use my car anymore in town and have biked 500km in 44 Weeks!

the Ampler Stout is a perfect bike. the motor support starts very smooth but strong.the range is exactly 70 km, as described and cycling without support is not a problem. on forest path it is advisable to reduce the speed due to the missing suspension.

It is perfect for my situation. I have to bike 8 km and than take it into the train. Sometimes I have to hang it up. And in the station I have to carry it downstairs and upstairs. All this is easy and quickly done without sweating and heavy breath. A lot of my colleagues now are thinking about buying an Ampler...

I was very impressed by the overall design, fit and finish and build quality.
I haven't exactly measured the range but definitely had no problems on long rides.
In the beginning I had a little pain in my back but I quickly got used to the seating position
and am now very comfortable on 2 hour rides.
I did end up replacing the handlebar grips, I found the used material to be too soft and this
caused pain in my wrists although I will admit I am generally sensitive to wrist pain.
It would also be nice to be able to place a bottle holder on the diagonal
bar of the frame but I guess this is not possible due to the battery being there.
I would be useful to be able to trace the bike with a GPS chip in the case it gets stolen.

I’m 69 this year and I live in a really hilly area and my house is in the clouds. This is my second peddle assist bike and it is perfect for me. I have to put in my share of the effort and that suits me fine as the bike gives me just the right amount of exercise. I also love the idea that it doesn’t look or sound like an electric bike and I get great pleasure in effortlessly passing other cyclist…particularly the ones that wear all the right colour co-ordinated gear.

Die App stürzt leider immer wieder ab und hat einen enormen Datenverbrauch. Ich habe mich 2 x durch Berlin navigieren lassen und zack waren 700 mb weg. Das geht definitiv besser, wie wäre es mit offline Karten? Wenn Ampler hier noch nachbessert, gibt es volle 5 Sterne!

I love the bike. It is very nimble and sporty cycling to work every day. One problem is that the app used 1.5GB of data in 2 days. After that i changed the setting on the phone that the app is not allowed to use internet in the background.

Received my bike one month after ordering in a big cardoard box. Took 10 minutes to make it functional. I've been comlunting with it on a hilly path (11km), it takes me 31 minutes (26 minutes back) where as public transportation take me minimum 45. It's not like you don't have to put effort (which is good), it helps a lot being fast when starting and going uphill. Took me a little bit to get used to the sporty position and saddle but I love it now. Great communication with support team. (pout les parisien voulant se faire subventionner, la petite carte avec le numéro de série du vélo a été acceptée comme certificat de norme européenne).
