Love it. I now travel further for longer and enjoy my cycling once again. One reason I bought the Ampler was because it is a great looking bicycle but it might not have been the perfect choice for me as I live in the countryside and like to go off road now and then! It is no mountain bike but it copes well with most of the terrain that I off road on. However, it is a brilliant bike. I like to think the E in E-bike = Exercise bike.

Hi Frank! We are sorry to hear that you have had some issues with the tires so far. The Curt bike comes with Continental Grand Prix 4-Season tires. It is a robust all-season tire with worry-free puncture protection and best lifespan. However, no tire is entirely puncture-proof. The longevity of the tires depends also on the upkeep of the tires and on your riding style. To make sure that the tires are maintained properly, please do the following:
- Check the tyre pressure regularly – the recommended tyre pressure is noted on the side wall of the tyre. Keeping the tyres inflated to the recommended pressure will keep the battery range high, protect the rim and tire from damages.
- Look out for tyre wear. Depending on how and where you ride your bike, the tyres can wear at a different pace. If you see that the tread looks worn out, change your tyres.
- If it gets icy, get some winter tyres – we can give you some suggestions for which ones work best for your bike.
