The plants were excellent and look great. Unfortunately delivery did not live up to the same standards. This was the message from the delivery company:

The only negative was the promised overnight delivery. The plants were scanned and arrived at the carrier’s local deport early on Friday morning but were not delivered until Monday afternoon. The plants were therefore very dry. The delivery company DX, don’t respond to emails and don’t answer the phone. Trust Pilot reviews for DX are 99% negative.

Having been to a few garden centres to view Bamboo plants, happened to come across Bamboo Giant.Do yourself a favour and disregard the garden centres.The plants that I purchased from Bamboo Giant are f ar more healthier & superior to the feeble specimens that we're displayed at the garden centre , cheaper too! I would strongly recommend Bamboo Giant if Bamboo plants is what you're looking for.
