Large Reversible Rollaway Nest Box
Purchased long before I needed, and have had it assembled and waiting for my first ever egg. I put this together with my 9 year old son, and instructions were clear enough for both of us to understand. Careful packaging and strong materials, we were satisfied with the finished product that took us about half an hour to assemble.
Then we took it to the coop and simply set it on the floor. Yesterday we got our first egg! We didn't have to tape up flaps or use any tricks. It was like Christmas, opening the roll off cover to such a beautiful gift! The ladies seem happy, and so are we!

The Perch when open to get to the door for where the eggs roll does not open easily. I have to push out on the side to get it to open. It looks like I am going to need to use a grinder to get it to open correctly.

Hi Ryan,
We tried to contact you to get more information about the issue. If things are assembled correctly, you would not need to grind anything for proper functioning. Please reach out to us at 330-558-1120 so we can discuss the problem further.
Thanks,

This is the coolest product for chickens ever!! My kids love collecting eggs from this nest box. We had absolutely no problem getting our girls to lay in them, they took to them like a duck to water.

Excellent box and excellent customer service. I called before I bought with questions. Someone picked up very quickly and answered all my questions. Got the box, put it in the coop and had more questions on how to get already laying chickens to lay in the box. Again someone picked up very quickly and and her suggestions worked. Thank you and very rarely do I write reviews but this time it is necessary.

ChickenGuard Extreme Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener & Self Locking Door Kit with 3 Year Warranty
I bought my unit in February 2021. It is now July 2021 and it is completely dead. I replaced the batteries and still nothing. Screen is completely blank, no lights coming on and cannot manually move the door at all. Waiting to see what Chicken Guard will do. I won't buy another for my new coop. Sad to see Best Best Box passes the customers off to the company in the UK and doesn't offer direct warranty coverage.

Quite the amazing product. Girls are about one year old and adjusting from the old nest boxes to this one quite well. Taped the middle section up and they started laying the next day. A couple took a few days to become convinced it wouldn't eat them, but they are doing great now.
Bought this because I had a couple that were eating eggs. Now this has been solved. Thank you so much!!

Product is well-built. It takes a long time for the hens to get used to using it. Two weeks and our hens still won't lay in it. Was originally going to send it back (unopened) because we found a much better and cheaper used product after ordering this one. However when contacting customer service, they were going to charge so many fees in addition to shipping that it was going to cost practically the same as the purchase price to return it. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Hens often acclimate to the nest box immediately or very quickly. Certain flocks may need some training to get them to use the box. This can be true for ANY change you introduce to chickens, not just with our nest box. Please review our training tips listed on the website or call us for specific assistance related to your situation.
The price we gave you was for the return shipping of the nest box only. No other fees were included. Unfortunately, big, heavy items are costly to ship. This is out of our control. We are not a large corporation that can absorb this cost because a customer changes their mind and wants to return the box. Of course if the box you received has a manufacturing defect (a very rare occurrence) then we will cover the cost to ship the box back to us and send you a new one.
We take great pride in providing our customers with a quality product and service to back it up. We think our hundreds of reviews reflect this fact.

The reversible nest box was slot more useful than I thought. I was able to mount it through the wall and gather eggs without having to go into the coop. It gives me the flexibility to change configuration in the future when we continue to scale up. It's a great design and provides very clean eggs. Couldn't ask for anything more.
