These nest boxes are the best. They're worth every penny in the time we save on egg wash. :)

I'm an engineer and the most frustrating thing is to get instructions with poor images that lacked detail information, obviously the manufacturer never watched someone assemble their product. Your product, documentation, quality, everything was well thought out and I have to say that you have mastered this box and its absolutely worth every penny spent!
I purchased a smaller box a year and a half ago and I found that some of the chickens pecked at the sitting hen hoping to speed the process up and were impatient, so I upgraded the box to the large box... I have 8 chickens and could have easily gotten away with the medium box but I know this is a sound investment and will be great for the future as I expand.
Thanks!!!

I’m sorry I can not write a review yet. The Best Nest Box still has not arrived. UPS has had it sitting in a local warehouser the past week. Perhaps you should consider a more reliable shipper. We get other packages shipped in a timely fashion but UPS seems very slow and unreliable.

Our girls have not started laying yet but I look forward to nice clean eggs. Installation was simple and took about the forty to forty-five minutes suggested.

Medium (24") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 20 hens)
This is my second medium nest box. I really love the design, construction, and convenience of it. My only "issue" is that I think it's overly optimistic to say the medium size can accommodate up to 20 hens. I have a dozen and routinely have two birds in there at a time, with others waiting and some laying on the floor. Once in a blue moon I have seen three birds packed in.
Add an occasionally broody bird into the mix, and you have a more serious problem with eggs on the floor and getting pecked (unless you decide to go nuclear to break the bird in a cage or something) due to lack of space.
So, I ordered a second medium box to go right on top of the first. That seems to alleviate things.
Everybody's flock is different, so your mileage may vary.

Large Reversible Rollaway Nest Box
Overall very impressed, it was between this and HenGear, I think I make the right choice. My decision was based on how the bottom part was made. HenGear looks like it is 2 pieces, while BNB is only one. I will take 1 solid piece any day.
Pretty easy to put together, installation was not hard either. Would have been nice if they added a cutout size for the coop wall for a reverse install. I had to make a few cuts to get it right. Perhaps its an issue to give sizes because it depends on the thickness of the wall of your coop.
I would purchase another from them, but i think this box will last just about forever. My birds are not laying yet, so we will see if they like it.
Everything lined up great, and there were no sharp edges. The nesting box is heavy, but not unwieldy. It doesn't feel cheap, it looks and feels like it would be perfectly fine in a large scale farm.

The medium nest box arrived well packed in a sturdy box and it was very easy to assemble. It appears to be a well-built and sturdy unit that should last for a long time. I hope our hens like it as much as I do.

Medium (24") Reversible Roll Out Chicken Nest Box (Up To 20 hens)
Love it, everything I expected it to be. Quality and easy to setup and install. New to raising Chickens and everything I reviewed about Best Nest from experienced farmers made me realize how valuable of an investment it was. I retro fitted it into a store bought chicken coop and it works perfectly. I like the fact that my granddaughter can collect eggs very easily. I am in a colder climate so I may try to insulate under the egg catcher since it is outside the coop to keep the cold out but just a simple piece of wood or foam board I can remove in spring. I expected to be very happy with clean eggs for years to come. Thank you
