Home of the your gonna get screwed deal!
Buyer beware!!! Do not buy from these people. They have lied to me countless times, and will give you the run around, hangup on you, and you will most likely end up with a non working tractor. I have a hydraulic leak since day 1 that has been in for repair and is still leaking. Called and they said longer than 30 days and you now have to pay for repair, even though it's the same leak that has never been fixed. While expressing discontent I was hung up on. When they delivered the tractor from being repaired, I noticed that one of the items on the list of things to be fixed was still not working properly. The delivery guy called the shop and was asked did you get it off the trailer?, the guy said yes, and he was told to just leave. They may talk about great service, but their actions clearly say otherwise. Most of their tractors are poorly refurbished gray market tractors that they get from an equally bad company in Dallas TX.

I took my power mower in for a spring tune-up and received a price-quote for the job. When I picked it up, I was charged substantially more than the quote, even though all maintenance was routine. When I questioned the service manager, he said that it had been a misunderstanding, but did not reduce the price. After a cable broke on the same mower, I once again took my mower in for service. I was quoted $14 for a replacement cable and was told that it would cost about $30 for labor. When I picked up my mower, I was charged $32 for the cable and $70 for labor. DO NOT TRUST any estimates you receive from these people. They are not very honest. I will NOT return.

I found Big Reds by accident. I was looking for repair on my Yanmar tractor. Their service department had my tractor repaired for a CHEAP! I also found a camper for my hunting lease. This is truly a one stop shop for all your equipment. I will be going back in the spring for a couple of four wheelers.

Avoid this Company!!!
Took three items to Big Red for repair. None were repaired properly. Management and staff were unresponsive. And most dissapointingly, didn't feel any remorse or need to make it right. Would never take anything back to Big Red or consider buying anything from them.Took all three items to competent repair services, but at addl expense to me.

Repairs slow and done incorrectly, Management not interested in making it right. Had to take to a competent shop for proper repairs and of course at additional expense. Would not use this company again.

I purchased a used Merry Tiller from Big Red's Equipment...
I purchased a used Merry Tiller from Big Red's Equipment Sales that they advertised on Craig's List. The tiller had a small amount of gasoline in the bottom of the fuel tank, but ran well. When we returned home, I filled the fuel tank and started the tiller. I was surprised to discover that the fuel tank leaked badly around the horizontal seam between the top and the bottom of the tank. When I removed the fuel tank, I saw that a leak in the bottom of the tank had been repaired with epoxy. I spoke with two representatives of Big Red's Equipment. The son of the owner intially agreed to ship me a replacement fuel tank, but another employee, after speaking with the owner, refused to replace the fuel tank. I am appalled that if Big Red's knew about the leaking fuel tank, they would sell a machine with a defect that could cause serious injury or death to the operator. If they did not know about the defect, I am disappointed that they would not correct a problem of which they should have been aware.

Defective Fuel Tank on Tiller Purchased at Big Red's
I purchased a used Merry Tiller from Big Red's Equipment Sales that they advertised on Craig's List. My wife and I traveled 3 hrs. to examine and purchase the tiller. The tiller had only a small amount of gasoline in the bottom of the fuel tank, but started and ran well. When we returned home, I filled the fuel tank and started the tiller. I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that the fuel tank leaked badly around the horizontal seam between the top and the bottom of the tank. The leak presented an immediate danger, since it dribbled onto the hot muffler. In addition, there were two half-inch vertical cracks that leaked fuel in the upper left side of the tank that were not visible initially with a small amount of fuel in the bottom of the tank. I immediately shut off the tiller and removed the tank. When I removed the fuel tank and turned it over, it was apparent that a leak in the bottom of the tank had been repaired with epoxy that appeared to be J-B Weld (a method of repair not approved by the maker of the motor). I immediately called the son of the owner, who had made the sale to me. He returned my call the following day and to his credit, stated that Big Red's stood behind the machines they sold. I told him that I wanted to believe that their company did not know about the defects in the fuel tank when they sold me the tiller, but that I did expect to have a usable piece of equipment. The son and I discussed a reasonable way of resolving the issue. I told him that driving a total of 6 hrs. to return the tiller was not reasonable, but I would be satisfied with them replacing the fuel tank and shipping it to me. I told him that I felt confident in replacing the tank myself, so no additional costs would be incurred. The son agreed that Big Red's replacing the fuel tank was a reasonable option.and that he would convey my information to their parts department. He asked that I call back the parts department with the information on the motor so that they could order the fuel tank. When I called back the parts department, they stated that the employee that took the information was not in. I called back again a day or so later and again was unable to reach the employee. I made an additional call, in which I left a message for the employee to call me back. The employee returned my call and stated that the price of the fuel tank was $56.00. I politely explained to the employee the content of my previous conversation with the son of the owner. The employee stated that the son did not have the authority to make that decision and that he would have to discuss the problem with the owner. I waited on the phone while he spoke with the owner. When he returned, he said that they thought that it was possible that the leaks in the tank developed on the 3 hr. trip. (Very unlikely, as the tiller was well secured with ropes, well padded and there were no sudden stops. In addition, the J-B Weld repair on the bottom of the tank was obviously present before the trip.) The employee stated that the advertised price of the tiller (which I paid) was a mistake and that the original price of the tiller was about $200.00 more than the advertised price. The implication was that the price was a bargain and that I should not mind paying for a defective fuel tank. The employee also stated that I could return the tiller to Big Red's (an impractical option, given the time, distance and expense involved). After politely telling the employee how unhappy I was about Big Red's behavior in this case, I requested that he convey my sentiments to the owner. The money is not the issue in this case, but principle. I am particularly appalled that, if Big Red's knew about the leaking fuel tank, that they would sell a machine with a defect that could cause serious injury or death to the operator. If they did not know about the defect, I am surprised and disappointed that they would not correct a problem of which they should have been aware. I expected better of them.
