I have a 96 y/o father with CHF, losing weight and therefore the strength to be mobile. I also have a 92 y/o mother with Alzheimers, who will only drink her meals for three years now. Both are diabetics so I needed something with a low sugar content and high caloric to help them maintain their weight.
My father can only drink so much due to his CHF and because he can be difficult in drinking at all. This boost very high caloric drink is allowing us to get calories into both of them while not introducing alot of sugar. So far my father isnt complaining about the taste and is consuming it well. My mom drinks them down without problem. Their morning fasting glucose levels have been lower since they have started drinking this Boost VHC. The only problem is that I couldnt find it in the stores sooner and only until I found it online. Alot of other people, who could benefit from this drink, may not know this version exists as well.
