I have had a good experience learning with Cambridge online homeschool. The teachers are very good. However I feel there is room for improvement with regards to the dashboard. It is not streamlined or user friendly. It is not easy to navigate. On many occasions I have submitted homework but the teacher has not received it, and this has affected my grades. A good example of a user friendly dashboard is Interhigh online school, it is very clear and easy to use.

My daughter has been studying with OCAD since the beginning of the year. She is currently doing a Level 2 Diploma in Art and Design. Really impressed with all the teachers on the 11 subjects my son enrolled on, very welcoming and accommodating. All were highly engaging, clearly above the standards of most secondary schools. Any concerns I had around home education were allayed by the ability to view the classroom interaction personally, either by live or recorded lessons. My tutor on the iGCSE course, Jemma Graham, is awesome, fantastic and gives above and beyond the call of duty, as far as I'm concerned. If I have a question, she comes back with no end of inspiration, advice - and all the support I could ever need to get me through. It is so obvious she has a love for what she does - her lesson material is so ridiculously inspiring I often end up with a 100 more things to look up by the time I'm done with reading everything through - and I'm practically skipping! I have tried taking art courses before - and this course has the most amazing, supportive tutors and lesson material. Not all tutors give you so much, and they certainly aren't open all hours when you're having a Bohemian Crisis!! I haven't stopped buzzing about life since I started, and I am really enjoying getting back to art. At 40 years old, it's not easy to career change - and I have full faith this is the place to finally succeed in my dream to take an Art Degree. 5 Stars, without any doubt. And I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else thinking of taking a course here.

I probably wouldn't recommend this course as there is little actual tutorials, some the link are just to YouTube videos and not designed as specific tutorials which had I know I would not have joined the course. I would have preferred step by step tutoring, with perhaps more than just names of artists to research would have been helpful, something more specific as there is so much information it can be overwhelming. A data base of perhaps downloadable tutorials on how to do printing, basic photo editing, mind maps and other techniques would have been really helpful. I relied on internet searches and never really know if I'm finding the right information. You are essentially paying for tutor support, which they are good and is the redeeming factor. I struggled with being left to my own devices and would have prefered smaller breakdown of submitting work, perhpas each unit broken into smaller pieces. That being said, my circumstances dramatically changed after I joined the course and I found myself travelling every other week and living in areas without internet or even shops at some points. Possibly having these smaller deadline could have helped me focus on smaller chunks of information.
