The content of the course is good however the contact with Tudor is limited and impersonal. Also when requesting a little bit of support none was given. The course also starts at different times so if you start from the beginning you are not learning in real time something that is not explicit in the information.

We have submitted an application to Cambridge Online Education School in November 2022 for a vacancy in either Year 9 or Year 10 through the route of enhanced application with payment of £299 as the prescribed application fee. We have received an email acknowledging receipt of our payment of the prescribed fee. Our enhanced application was sent to the School in accordance with the direction of the School stated on its email to us. Since then, we have heard nothing from the School as if no application has ever been submitted. Not recommend any parents to submit to this School an enhanced application and pay the relevant application fee. We regret for having submitted an application to Cambridge Online Education! !

My 13 year old daughter has just started online with CHS last week so it is quite early to review, however the helpline staff and deputy head have been extremely prompt in answering our questions, arranging a taster day and enrolling her. As with everything new, we did have a couple of technical teething problems which were quickly remedied by the expert guidance of the deputy head, making the transition to online easy. As she missed a full term of the academic year, the option to view the missed ‘recorded’ lessons was a real bonus. My daughter has Asperger’s so struggled with main stream school friendships and her confidence and self esteem hit rock bottom. Being bullied at school also added to prolonged absences but since leaving mainstream schooling and joining CHS, we have got our motivated, focused and confident daughter back. The routine of the timetable means she can focus fully on the live classes and she manages her time independently. The small class sizes (usually no more than 8) and recording of all lessons mean she is confident to interact with the class and teachers, something she would shy away from previously for fear of ridicule. We also have full access to her teams account and are encouraged by the school to follow her progress, homework assignments, feedback etc weekly should we wish to do so. Live parents evenings are also tabled in so you can keep up to date in the usual way. Being able to opt out of certain lessons on the timetable like Latin (which she has no desire to pursue) has also made the timetable specific to her needs. We would recommend CHS from what we have experienced so far. So so helpful and caring.

So far my experience has been very positive. I am learning lots of new techniques and skills that will help for future art. The teachers are lovely and are happy to answer all your questions. The instructions for tasks are clear and the videos are helpful and informative. It has overall been a very positive experience and I look forward to the future. The only part I found confusing at times was nagivgating teams but once you get the hang of it it’s a breeze.

Having left school with little to no qualifications and none in my favourite subject art. I decided enrolled on the Level 2 Art Course in February 2020 as a mature student.
Whilst it’s been stressful at times especially with lockdowns etc. but I’ve really enjoyed it.
The tutors have been great and I’ve finally gained an art qualification. Something I wouldn’t have been able to gain from elsewhere.
Looking at maybe doing a level 3 course in the future.

The only thing I would add would be that if you have a job like me, even part-time, it's a better option to choose the 2 year course instead of the 1 year intensive, unless you have some previous experience and not follow the live lessons which take up a whole year. You get no refunds after 14 days so make sure for which one to apply for.
The exams are every June, so if you haven't started the previous year on September for the 1 year intensive course, then the time to complete the tasks is simply not enough. (At least it wasn't for me).
Overall I do enjoy the experience and helps me build a nice portfolio. Depending whether that's going to be enough, I might apply for a foundation level course when my current one ends.
