This order was my first time ordering from Charlie's and it was also my first time using Credova.

I was excited because the website showed that Charlie's had a semi-custom DD MK12 MOD1 upper with a collar system that worked with AE suppressors like the AEM5/OCM5 that I already owned, and not only that, the upper was actually a reasonable price, in stock, and said it would ship within 5-15 days from order date.

I thought it was too good to be true, but the reviews seemed legit so I took the plunge. At first all seemed well, the Credova application, approval, and then subsequent order placement was fast and easy, with an order date of June 17th. Followed shortly by an order update of awaiting payment on June 19th which is unfortunately where that order status still sits to this day.

Trust I didn't just sit and twiddle my thumbs, I tried numerous times to get in touch. At first just to see if I could get some kind of update, or maybe find out if their was an issue on my end, but unfortunately that wasn't in the cards. I did not receive my first, and unfortunately last, response ever, from Charlie's until July 1st, when a customer service representative told me my order would be forwarded to a manager for an update.

Ever since that day it has been radio silence. I called, emailed, texted, website chatted, Instagram messaged, and even filed a Credova claim and had their management try and reach out and Charlie's blew all of us off.

The worst part is by policy I can only have 1 Credova account/balance that is attached to 1 merchant at a time and the merchant who holds that balance has to be the one to cancel it. So I cant cancel it and neither can Credova, so I have an approved balance that I can do absolutely nothing with, attached to a product I never received, from and order that is apparently un-cancelable and unchanging.

In conclusion, I vehemently recommend that no one ever does buisness with Charlie's Custom Clones unless they are a masochist and enjoy the prospect of being neglected/ghosted for 30 days, while they don't get the product that they financed, which was supposed to ship out to them within 5-15 days of ordering, while also being unable to transfer that balance anywhere else because its impossible to cancel the order because Charlie's will never respond to you or cancel the order.

Tight fit loads of room!

Building a work rifle like my old M4A1. Rifling is clean, barrel looks perfect. The birdcage is nicely pinned and welded. Once again, a great item and fast shipping from CCC

I would give zero stars, but that wasn't an option. I placed an order in December for an AR15 upper half. Three months later I had not received it. Multiple times, I called, emailed and used the chat feature on their website. Nobody ever responded. Ultimately, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. They informed me after waiting one month and then two months that nobody from Charlie's Custom Clones ever responded to them. The bottom line is that Charlie's Custom Clones should be avoided like the plague because they take your money and don't deliver what you paid for. Zero stars!

My upper receiver did not come with the rear sight.

My first ZCO 527. It’s seems to be a great scope. Just haven’t had enough time with it yet. It’s super clear and bright.

Took longer to get here than one would expect but the quality is nice. I have the same gripe with these as all the repos - the profile of the taper is wrong and too thick. Nevertheless, until someone steps up with a dead-on copy of the original (inherent durability flaws and all) this one will suffice.
