The mount looks pretty good; I have my camera mounted on it instead of a telescope. I'm waiting for a clear night so I can try aligning the mount to Polaris. I read through the manual, and I've done some basic operations using the app, but I still feel like I don't know what I'm doing. I'm a smart guy with an engineering background, and I'll say that the learning curve is steep. Are there any tutorials that might better explain how to start getting results with this product? I think you'd do well for your customers if such tutorials existed and were promoted.

ASI 120MM-Mini
The ASI 120MM-Mini is my first guide camera, and it does the job well. I picked it based on the many reviews for the camera for guiding - and paired it with the ZWO off-axis guider. I'm only using a 60mm refractor, but having guiding work well - as it has with the Mini - means I don't have to manually correct my telescope. Only thing that surprised me about the mini is that the stars aren't sharp and round, like I'm used to in my main astronomy camera. Maybe I've done something wrong in setting up the off-axis guiding - but PHD2 (the guiding software I use) has no trouble using what it sees through the Mini.

I purchased these dew heaters for my Astro-Tech CFT 90 apochromatic refractor and for my 60mm guide scope. While our skies have been quite cloudy and with the latest arctic blast, I did manage to image a couple of targets. I used the ZWO RCA to 12 volt splitter to provide power to the dew heaters through the ASIAir. The ASIAir app allows regulation of the heat going to the dew heaters. I was concerned that running two dew heaters on one 12 volt power port on the Air would be too much. This concern was unfounded because of the low amp draw of the heaters. Despite being -5 F in the morning, I saw no sign of frost on either the telescope or guide scope. I would highly recommend these dew heaters.

Mount takes a little getting used to, though to be fair, it was my first mount. I like that it's light weight and I can travel with it. Now that I have more experience I probably would have chosen something like the AM3 mount as my first. Nevertheless, everything I've shot to date has been with this little mount, and I'm pleased with the results.

The gentleman I talked to on the phone definitely knew what he was talking about and helped me pick out a gift for my grandson. I am totally at the mercy of the sales people when it comes to astrophotography or telescopes. Because the filter was out of stock, but expected in soon, I ordered it, and they kept me informed as to the expected delivery, and the couple of delays. In today's world, delivery delays are a part of how things seem to work, so I was appreciative of their updates. My grandson was delighted with his gift, and even though it wasn't exactly what he had asked for, it was much more inclusive.
Bottom line, I will do business with them again. Small businesses put forth the extra effort to make sure their customers are happy, and this place is at the top of list in customer service.

I ordered the Seestar S50 through Cloud Break Optics. I spoke to them on the phone concerning the length of time to complete the order and the quoted estimate for delivery was accurate and the scope showed up before Christmas. This scope can be set up within a few minutes and imaging. It cuts through the light pollution and deliver's results. Documentation is adequate but could be better. Plenty of resources on using the Seestar are available on YouTube and/or Facebook user group so it's not a major issue. I highly recommend this little scope for the first time visual or astrophotographer.

I have only used it once since unboxing but it was easy to assemble and transport to a dark sky location. It took a couple of times to properly align but once it did it was spot on. Great views of the moon, Saturn and Jupiter. Also viewed Double Cluster and other deep space objects. Amazing clarity and definition. Look forward to spending many nights to come with this telescope.
