Corset is of good quality, the materials are lovely and the general fit is good. However, the lacing is incredibly frustrating and I've thought long and hard how it should affect my score, but honestly it is a big problem. The smooth satin lace is incredibly slippery and hard to get a grip on, making this corset much more frustrating to tighten properly, adding to this the lace also continues to go up at the knot when strain is put on it, something that inevitably happens every time the thing is tightened. This all has kept me from tightening the corset as much as it should be, and makes it hard to get a properly snug fit. I would recommend buying normal 'grippy' lace with this corset and replacing the satin ribbon, it might look pretty but it's not practical.
