It's not quite curvy enough for me though - I read somewhere that if your natural waist is above 38" (I'm 40" ish) you can typically buy a corset size 6-8" below that, which worked for me in terms of waist size, but then it was far too small around my chest! So I had to size back up and deal go for a smaller waist reduction and unlace the top more than the bottom (which isn't good for the boning in the long term really).
So buying off the rack over the bust is maybe not going to be a perfect fit if you are curvier (either because of a larger waist measurement or because your ratios are higher), or you might have to do a bit more research, delve into descriptions or put up with stuff that's not quite perfect.
If however your ratios are a bit lower (i.e. your bust and hips aren't a heck of a lot bigger than your waist size) then this should be perfect for you as is.

This is a really gorgeous corset, but the mesh makes it very stretchy so I would recommend sizing down. Also, it obviously doesn't hide very well under tight skirts, but it still gives a fantastic shape! Very good quality and well worth the price!
