Good advice available on site for a new corset wearer wanting something simple but well-made for a costume party and subsequent casual wear. There was a good range of beautiful corsets on offer at good prices. I would have valued more in-depth discussion of what corset style suits what body shape, but found advice elsewhere online to help me choose an 'instant shape' underbust. As it turns out I could have gone for a waist-taming rather than an instant shape corset but still think the decision I made was sensible as I've not worn corsets regularly before. At the time of purchase there was little available in the way of extras (skirts, accessories) but this probably saved me some money ... I failed to buy suspenders at the same time and had to get them as a separate order, but postage was reasonable and delivery prompt. The corset is well constructed and beautifully finished. It was easy to embellish and customise with ribbon, marabout, gems etc. It was comfortable and looked great for six hours' wear including dancing, sitting and travelling. The suspenders are industrial-strength jobs, and they needed industrial strength to persuade them to fasten, but once closed they didn't let go. Overall, I'd recommend Corset Story for solid, well-made, attractive corsets, and I'll be looking here again if and when I want to go further with waist reduction.

Service was easy and hassle free

Absolutely fantastic! Bought as part of my New Year outfit and have never received so many compliments. Arrived very quickly, and when I had a query about the ribbon tie my email was responded to within 10 minutes! If that isn’t excellent customer service I don’t know what is!

The modesty flap would be better if it was boned. Also it feels like the bones closest to the lacing gromets feel like they are also spiral steel bones and not flat bones to prevent bowing in this area. Most of the pins on the busk have come lose. The quality of the stiching and the fabrics use are holding up fine showing no signs of wear or tear

Always great to browse and can always find something to buy, though could do with fewer emails, thank you

The product that I purchased was exactly as the website description and they delivered on the time informed.

Item exactly as described and a quick service

Excellent customer care. High quality workmanship. Very easy returns.

Again, I had a problem with this corset, seems to be a theme with this type of corset. I did have a positive outcome but disappointed with the issue to start with

excellent service and product is number one
