Black Steampunk Corset With Chains
The corset is lovely, and feels very well-made, but it's not for curvy, short-waisted people.
The amount my waist nips in combined with how short my torso is had the effect of forcing the boning in this corset into flared U shapes with too much tension to pull the ends back in, imagine inside-out parentheses: )(
I've never experienced this before, and no amount of adjusting the lacing, even with assistance, allowed me to get the top and bottom edges to flex back in, at least as long as the middle was still touching my waist.
The flare-out of the bottom edge could conceivably be disguised by wearing a full skirt under it, but not the top edge.
That being said, customer service is amazing, and it was no trouble to exchange this corset for another one. And I also want to note that my sister, who doesn't share my short waist, also got this corset and it fits her amazingly.

Love this one, the satin is delightful. Skirt is a separate piece so you can wear it with or without. As a visible part or as a crenoline for more fullness of an outer skirt. It does have plastic boning on some parts so its less corset and more boned blouse, but absolutely worth the money!
