This is one of my first corsets, so I'm not crazy familiar with all the details in the workmanship. It is definitely a sturdy material and wearing it has been enjoyable, and it certainly performs well. The only down side is how thick the material is. I suppose that's the intention with this waist trainer design, but it is very warm and not quite as comfy for everyday wear as some of the others I have purchased.
