I tried this one in two different sizes, and while I LOVE the look, the sizing is tricky. The right size corset is too small across my shoulders and arms; the size up is good across the shoulders but too loose in the waist (I now have it cinched all the way closed, which is largely better but doesn't give any room to tighten in the hips). I am tall, though - so if you consider yourself average height or short, or if you have slim shoulders, go for it! It is a beautiful shirt, and well made.

The product itself is beautiful, but the sizing based on the hook and eye closures at the bottom of the back are different. I have 5 other corsets from Corset Story, all a size 20 that fit beautifully. I ordered this in a 20 and it was way too small, so I returned it for a 22. The 22 fits better in the corset part, but is still nowhere near allowing me to close the hook and eye closures on the bottom of the back, which leaves me with a huge gap over my butt. I could fill it in with some kind of bustling or something if I'm using it for costuming, but I was wanting to wear it around and it's not going to look how I want it to if there's a big gap in the coat over my butt. I'm going to have to exchange it a second time and try my luck with a 24.

This piece is lovely and well made. Unfortunately, it is not designed for bodies with any kind of curve. I ordered the 24" (for a 27-28" natural waist) and though I am able to comfortably tighten the back completely doing so makes the shirt unsuitable for public use (hello cleavage, meet my clavicles!) The boning along the lacing is surprisingly long and the tops cause the back of the shirt to stick out. Thankfully, I am handy with a needle and thread and was able to replace them with a pair that was 2" shorter.
