I sized up when I ordered thinking that this would allow me to tighten the laces more in the back and get more of a "closed" look, but I should have probably ordered based on my actual waist measurement- sizing down made it so that I had to fully close the corset in the back, which actually makes it less able to conform to my shape. That said, it still looks absolutely gorgeous over a black dress, and the beading is fairly sturdy compared to most beaded fabrics (I did lose one bead after wearing it twice, but compared to most beaded things I've worn this isn't bad). The silhouette is a little more straight up and down than with their other waspies, so the waist is slightly less dramatic, but it does a good job of pulling in the whole core area.

Getting into it was pretty difficult - while the zipper is stronger than a standard apparel zipper, it was difficult to get the tension it needed. Once it was on, though, it was fantastic.

This dress is stunning in person. The photos do not do it justice. This dress gives a nice hour glass figure, slims the waist and smooths out any problem areas in the mid-drift region. The fabric is soft and silky against the skin and is very comfortable to wear. This dress was very well made. I would definitely buy another.
