I love this corset however the straps were too big and gapped on me and my torso may be a bit too short for the back, it would ride up and if I put my head back I could touch the top of the corset with my head. I wish I had ordered a size or two smaller.

I love the look and feel of this corset. It fits well and seems sturdy. I love the Silhouette And that it comes Witt cord and lace for lacing up. I’m still seasoning the corset and training my waist but I do love how sturdy the corset is. There are only minor cosmetic defects like dimples in the front where the busk is and white threads coming out of some of the wholes but they are not noticeable. I was a bit cinfused with the sizing chart for the 5” reduction and 4” reduction being the same but I was able to contact customer service and they explained that the 4” has a 2” lacing gap built in and the 5” has a 1” lacing gap built in. Overall I love this corset and plan on wearing it a lot

Historically Inspired 1600-1650 Cotton Overbust Corset
I have pretty narrow shoulders (I’m 4’10” so I’m tiny in general) so the straps are kinda large for me, even when they’re fully tightened. That being said, the rest of it fits me great! I’m sure a normal-shouldered person would love it even more :)

1)The corset is much larger than others I have bought of the same size; the placket closes entirely at the top when I have barely laced it, whereas all the others I have purchased have much more room for adjustment.
2)The front ties are annoying; the busk does not fasten that high so the ties act as functional closure, but they are not of strong enough construction to bear any load.
