This ammo carrier may be a little on the expensive side but it is well constructed heavy duty for repeated use. The detachable sleeves are great for taking just a few rounds to the line. Much more compact and fits nicely into a backpack with other gear. Would definitely rather have this than ammo boxes.

First off, this was my first rear bag, so I'm not experienced with them at all. That being said, I REALLY like this bag. The grippy texture is absolutely awesome. I also like that it has a zipper to add or remove fill. Perfect size for my AR with a bipod. I did get a bag rider to help my SOPMOD stock rest a little better on it, but it wasn't necessary to use the bag. All in all, super happy and will definitely order another if this one ever needs to be replaced.
