Saff very friendly but if you want glasses from the NHS said they didn't have alot of choice . As for the paying side of course lots of choice at reasonable rates.

The pain of the cost of new glasses is almost worth it owing to the great service here, the time & patience of staff and the attentiveness of the optician who guided me to a service/treatment I did not know existed. I came in to see Dr Dave recently for a dry eye consultation as I have been suffering from dry eye for a very long time.
He was very thorough in examining my eyes and was able to get to the root of the problem and gave me a regime to use at home.
I really feel like I have been given a new set of eyes as for the first time in a very long time I no longer need drops and my eyes are not drying out and burning anymore.
