As far as the scooter goes fantastic packed well shipping was on point and everything worked right out of the crate

There are a lot of things to consider for this review. Cost, quality, performance, durability, ease of use, etc...
Looking online at electric scooters, the cost is reasonable, when you see the prices on those tiny scooters that only go 20mph at best and barely stay together, it's a good value.
Delivery went well, minor damage to container but no damage to scooter. they come in a metal cage under thick cardboard box. Assbly was minimal, one bolt for handlebars, two turnsignals... that might have been it.
There were a few minor things that were not perfect with the Fat Cub when I got it (and one bigger issue I'll mention later) but I'm living with these issues and don't mind too much. one mount for a footrest was welded poorly and the footrest doesn't fit on quite right. Not a big deal, I don't really use them anyway.
Overall quality, you'll see some things that could have been made better, but I feel this was a reasonable build for what you pay.
I'm 6'3" and weigh around 275. the "scooter" is nice and large (though I can pick up one end and move it easy enough) and feels solid, I have no fear of it falling apart on me.
From the first ride, when I go over 20mph I notice a bounce or wobble from the back end. This model has no rear suspension. I lifted the back tire off ground and accelerated a bit, and there is a bit of a wobble, nothing is loose, hard to see what's going on. I'm no mechanic. Unbalanced, not aligned right? Unfortunately this becomes very noticeable on a smooth street at higher speeds, as a bounce that shifts the rear tire from side to side. I still go as fast as I can without too much issue, but have to be careful. I contacted customer support and they were very helpful with advice and sent a couple videos, but the bottom line is I'm not comfortable taking it apart to diagnose the issue.
I think the advertised top speed was 28mph. The speedometer stops at 30 and sometimes I can feel it accelerating beyond that.
I've put over 120 miles on mine and it is holding up just fine, nothing seems to be breaking down, finish is pretty tough, no changes from new that I can tell. I've ridden it in very light sprinkling rain by accident and been though a few puddles in streets, over wet street where the tires are throwing some water around. No issues from that, but there is plenty of potential for the battery compartment to flood and I don't know how deep a puddle would be safe for that rear hub motor.

Wish I had gone with a model that has rear suspension.
Waterproofing! The battery compartment could be sealed up.
Higher top speed. The Cub is nice and fast compared to most "sit down" scooters out there but hey, if the cars can go 40, they want to, and you can't...
...but those are all things that cost more basically, you can find those features, but not at the price of the Cub.
I would not by another Cub, I would get something even better, but I am very happy with my purchase.

Price and lead time were good. A little tough for a person who has little handy skills to install but I figured it out.

I do love the scooter, it has been exactly what I'd hoped. I would say the only drawback is the amount of accessories available (basket, carry container, seat, etc)... just a golf bag holder. there is a square receiver under the seat and bolts on the rear fender frame to attach something, but not finding anything easily.

I’ve had my scooter for a week now and I love it. Everyone wants to ride it. My neighbors have placed orders for two scooters. We plan on racing. I’ve already beat the kids on their stand ups as well as a couple of adults in their golf carts. The only issue so far is that all four foot pegs are broken.

Still need a booklet on it,never did get one !

Amazing! Love the foot pegs and how long the battery lasts. The only the it is missing is the torque. We took them to San Diego, CA and it can't handle the steep slopes. Perfect for AZ though.

ordered all-terrain tires. took a while to get here, but are way cool. they have exceptional traction in off-road situations. would recommend.

We bought the Fat Bear Scooter to ride and have lots of fun. Well not even a month of having the Fat Bear Scooter the handlebars wouldn't stay tight and would move up and down as you drive. (not very safe at all)
I tried to tighten the 4 bolts to tighter up the handlebars and found out that 2 of the 4 bolts would only turn 1/4 turn either way. So obviously 2 of the 4 bolts are cross threaded when the Fat Bear Scooter was built.
Now they're either going to have to be drilled out and retap or replace the gooseneck that holds the handlebars on.
Here is the crappy thing, The warranty is only good if you register it 30 days after buying the scooter. Well I didn't know that, So I'm telling anyone who wants to buy a Fat Bear Scooter to register the scooter the day you buy it.... This is what the book reads if you read it.
" The present warranty is only valid if the original buyer registered the warranty within the thirty (30) day period immediately following the date of purchase." 30 days OMG give me a break...... Its a $2300.00 scooter... Come on you can do better than that???
So yes I love my Fat Bear Scooter and I tell everyone who ask me about her when I'm driving her. I just hope Fat Bear Scooter will help me fix my scooter so I can keep riding.... Thx Brandon

After working out a few problems everything is going well. The support team worked with me and they got all the bugs out and I am now enjoying my fat bear.

i really like my scooter moped but, on the web cite does not allow me to buy a back up battery like the same battery that came with my fat bear scooter moped

I have had more fun than one could ever imagine with my Fat Bear! Easy to assemble and you can ride standing or sitting, my dog 🐶 loves riding on the back seat!

They were perfect. Company replaced the foot peg that broke. Was exact replacement. Fast ship.

Would be a 5 star except both scooters we purchased had the bolt to hold on the handlebars came with it pre-stripped out. No resolution as of yet…

Scooter is great. Lack of warranty documentation and getting no owners manual is not acceptable. They seriously need to work on that!
