Read the reviews and was somewhat skeptical. Ordered it anyway. No, it's not profitable if you're going to try to buy paydirt and expect the bags to pay for themselves...ain't gonna happen, there's business expenses involved. I will say that I've had MORE fun out of 2 one lb bag than you can shake a stick at. Now, when we go up in the canyons digging, instead of having 5 buckets of nothing, we sprinkle a little of Felix's dirt in each bucket and ALWAYS find something. Out of town visitors (who don't know about sprinkling Felix's dirt in their buckets) have posted enough pictures that prospecting has become one of the favorite requests of visitors. How do you put a price on a souvenir like the bottle with gold in it, and the stories they tell about prospecting. Thanks Felix, Melanie, and Tina!!!

Well I wasn't going to post this but with the reminders in the emails thought I would anyway. My thoughts are it's like a lottery you pay for a chance at the big one. But by the time your done you paid way to much. It was still fun but won't buy into the jackpot again
