#32 Sand - Marine Topside Paint
I was looking for a high quality marine paint to finish up my restoration of a 1950s Folbot skin on frame kayak and after searching for a good source came across George Kirby paints. There is definelty a reason they have been in business since the 1800s and that is their paints truly are spectacular.
I used their #26 Red Tint Topside paint to give the inside a great complimentary color to the wooden frame. For the exterior, I used #32 Sand as I was looking for a very clean and classic look for this boat. The performance of this marine paint on the fabric of this skin on frame boat was exceptional and completely water tight.
I couldn't have been more pleased with the final finish to this project and these paints were key to that success!

#21 Rich Red - Marine Topside Paint
Extremly pleased with Kirby products. I have used them on my Townie cockpit and my MFG Erie most recently. Use the best 2 inch brush you can get, and the proper Kirby primer. The paint flows out great, keeps a wet edge for overlap, dries hard. Even better with two coats. Will always use Kirby above the waterline and on deck.

Salty Dog Deck Oil
Used Salty Dog Deck Oil on the inner planks and stringers. Perfect solution for areas that are prone to getting wet and need to be sealed up but accessible and visible for finding leaks or rot. Smelled great right out of the can. This product is the best boat sauce I've found after about 10 years of restoring boats.
