I was very surprised with the Freedom wig. I have many wigs (not from Godiva) and I was never happy with any of them. I wore them out of necessity. With Freedom I actually look forward to wearing it. This wig is so natural looking and it’s not shiny. I will buy another for sure.

Like many post-menopausal women, I've experienced hormonal hair loss that made me feel less than attractive as I've grown older (I'll be 64 next year). To make matters worse, a bout of Covid back in March 2023 left me suffering with an enormous amount of hair loss that rendered my once-lustrous, thick head of hair looking horribly thin and raggedy. You can only do so much to hide it, you know? As you can imagine, I was extremely upset and alarmed seeing huge clumps of hair in the shower, and knew I had to come up with a new strategy. That, or never leave the house again! I used to have very long hair, and always colored it in bright shades. I don't shy away from high-intensity colors like vivid coppers, deep purples, sea-blues, burgundy red. I am NOT someone who likes plain hair colors on myself - I'm a very theatrical kind of gal, so losing ginormous chunks of my brightly colored hair sent me into an emotional tailspin.

I'd worn wigs in the past, but never of a truly decent, high-quality type. After doing much research, I happened upon Godiva's Secret Wigs on Youtube. I sat and watched at least fifteen of their videos, one after another, and not only fell in love with the impressive and very gorgeous assortment of wigs they offered, but mostly because of the sweet mother-daughter team, owners Rochelle and Danielle! They were warm, inviting, funny, kindhearted, and totally adorable. I wanted to reach out and hug them both. Pretty much every trait you look for in a trusted friend, they espoused in each of their highly-informative videos that are geared to help women feel better about themselves. I mean, we all want to look good, don't we? Ro and Dani are pros at assisting you with an important life choice. I felt like I knew them personally, and that they knew me, and that was enough to make me a lifelong fan.

Now the big question was, which wig would I choose? There were so many different styles, lengths, colors... talk about a tough decision! I agonized over this for a couple weeks, until finally narrowing it down to the Jenna in Silverstone. I loved the cut - the medium-length style can best be described as a face-framing layered choppy shag with curtain bangs swept to the side, which is the perfect look for me. When she arrived, I could barely contain my excitement as I unwrapped her, gave her a good shake to fluff her up, and put her on... I actually gasped! She is stunning!

So you gals all know the big test is seeing what your significant other thinks. I walked up to my husband and said, "What do you think?" The words were barely out of my mouth as his eyes flew wide open and he said "OH WOW!!! I love it! That looks gorgeous on you!"

I feel ten feet tall when I'm wearing her, and twenty years younger. The more I wear her, the more I love her, especially the Silverstone shade I chose!!! Wowza! It's electrifying in the best way.

Wearing her out into public has proven that she's truly a stunner - I get so many compliments from people. What better way to boost your self-confidence than to hear a complete stranger say they love your hair? One gal gushed on an on about it, so I confided that I was wearing a wig. She couldn't believe it, said it looked far too real and natural - so of course, I gave her the intel, told her to look up Godiva's Secret Wigs and get herself one!

Jenna is very well constructed, extremely comfortable, and brushes/styles in a snap. I've worn bangs most of my life, and considered trimming them on Jenna, but decided, nah, leave her as is. That way, I can sweep up the long bangs in front with a pretty clip.

Thing only bad thing is, now I'm faced with a serious dilemma: which Godiva's Secret wig will be my next purchase? And my third, fourth, fifth....! I've decided to go ahead and order a new wig every month, in many different shades and lengths.

Diana was always my heartbreaker. she doesn't quite cover my biohairline and I love her in her gray colors. The new Large Diana doesn't fit quite right, but that hairline problem is gone! I'll take in the too-big parts and love the rest
