Golfdotz are great! They are easy to apply. When driving, I will turn the marker away from my driver, but I don’t pay attention to it after that. I haven’t had any problems with them coming off during a round. I do have a few retired balls that I use for hitting into a net. Yes, after a few hundred shots and being left out in the rain, sometimes parts of the marker will come off. Even still, this is after literally a few hundred hits.
