Hi! Our new ROGUE SE design with the sliding magnetic attachment is overwhelmingly more popular than the older snap-on design. We are sorry that our new design doesn't work as well for your "dark environment" application. If you would rather have our previous model, we will gladly exchange your ROGUE SE with our older ROGUE model :). Thank you!
