Chicken As It Should Taste

Premium Ground Beef
We bought a whole chicken to roast - beautifully plump, not pumped with water, strong bones and incredibly tasty. After stripping the meat I made a delicious broth from the carcass. At a time when quality is hard to find, this is worth every dollar. Better to eat better, less often!

There are so many things I love about Farmer Dan's. First, I love having my items come directly to my home. I love not having to go to the grocery store and try to plan meals in advance.
I love buying local and supporting our Maine Farmers. Most of all I love the product. Everything I have cooked so far has been delicious.

Chicken Thighs w/ Skin & Bone
I have been ordering my meat for about six months now. I love the chicken thighs as they cook up perfectly in my ninja grill. The other day I was taking a package out of my freezer and my daughter was standing there saying where do you get your thighs from? They’re huge. I smiled and said from farmer Dan.

Ribeye Steak

Ribeye Steak
The ribeye steak was very fresh and tender. My only issue is that it was on the thin side for a steak. I understand it is only a 10 ounce steak so that would result in a thinner steak. I grilled it on a weber grill and had a difficult time getting medium rare because of the thickness. Next time I would use a cast iron skillet to get a more even result. Maybe if they offered a thicker 20 ounce steak using two choices that would probably be ideal. I am truly happy with the quality of all the meat I purchased from Heartstone Farm and will continue to order the Farmer Dan box from them. MB

Burger Patties
We absolutely love our burger patties from Heartstone Farm. I stocked up recently just in time for the outdoor grilling season too. Not only are these burgers delicious but they’re so easy to simply thaw and throw on the grill! They’re perfectly proportioned and ready to go! Throw on some seasonings and you’ve got a delicious, easy, and healthy burger! Thanks Farmer Dan for meat we can trust and it’s delivered right to our door!
