The color and quality of the meat really surprised us. We wanted better quality meat and more ethical treatment of the animals. This is exactly what we were looking for.

Farmhouse Beef Chili
Having local meat delivered has been a game changer for our family. Everything has been the highest quality and absolutely delicious! We’ve saved a ton of money and our kids have been eating more protein because it’s “farmer Dan’s” meat. We talk a lot about Farmer Dan and where their food is coming from. Can’t recommend enough!

My family of four loved these pies, there are no comparisons. The crust is flakey and very tasty. We ordered pumpkin, apple and blueberry. They were fresh and delicious. None better! GF items like these are hard to find worth getting!

Chicken Wings
I received the 5 pounds of chicken wings in the Chicken Stock Up box, figuring that would make a good dinner and then an extra lunch. My family, of three mind you, had different plans. They devoured all the wings for dinner, they were that good and tender. Fell right off the bone. I cooked them in the slow cooker and they turned out delicious!!

All Natural Vermont Holiday Turkey
Although I have always been a supermarket turkey shopper , I decided on a whim to order a turkey this year from Heartstone. Boy, was I ever surprised! The shipping was perfect - it arrived exactly on time and frozen hard as a rock. The bird I ordered was the "medium" size 14-16 lbs. It was every bit of 17 lbs.
We unpacked it and put it directly into the refrigerator one week before Thanksgiving.
I must say it was the best turkey we've ever had. I brined it overnite and roasted it at 350 for about
4 hours. Anyway you choose to season it , it will be delicious.
I will definitely be a repeat customer and look forward to also trying some of the other products you offer!

Farmer Dan Sampler (new customers only)
The meat is the way I remember eating when I was growing up in rural Michigan in the 1950s and 1960s. It is perfectly packaged and delivery is so reliable. I cooked the TBone steak, the ground beef and chicken thighs so far. The taste and richness of the meat is supberb. I am so pleased to have found a farm here in New England that exceeds all my expectations for fine meat options. The prices are very reasonable and the warm feelings I get from Farmer Dan and his staff make buying all of my meat needs from HeartStone Farm a joy.
