BEWARE. Most steaks listed per pound. Sirloin only 10 ounces. Upon arrival only .62 or 9.92 ounces, not even 10 Ounces as advertised. I imagine selling these steaks per pound would be upwards of $23.00 pound (my rough calculations). Advertising slick/tricky, IMO.

Nancy - Thank you for your feedback. The sirloin steaks are 10 oz in the product description - they are hand cut by our butchers, so they can vary a small amount - in your case less than 1/10 of an ounce. Our beef costs more than similar cuts which come from factory farms - but we hope that the way the cattle are raised and the quality of the meat makes it worth it. - Dan

First off, from the time I placed my order to the time I received it was about 24 hours. Awesome. Secondly everything I ordered was in the box, neatly packed and frozen solid. Awesome again. I appreciate the little welcome card and the tips for cooking, marinating, etc.
now for the sirloin tip steak. Just awesome. I turned it into steak tips. The meat browned up nicely in my cast iron skillet. The tips were juicy, tender and very flavorful. What more could you ask for?!it’s been fun trying out different cuts of meat and playing around with different cooking methods and marinades. I can’t recommend Heartstone enough.
