Maine Pasture-Raised Bone-In Leg of Lamb
Shipping packaging and delivery were good. Shipping package was biodegradable. My recipe called to slow cook the lamb in a slow cooker which I have learned the leg of lamb is better on the grill and a shoulder of lamb is better in a slow cooker. There was no gamy taste from being "grass-fed" and the meat was tender.

Sara - Thank you for your feedback. It sounds like you have a recipe that's tried and true - and I am glad to hear your Leg of Lamb was tasty and tender. As to your comment about the amount of fat, I checked in with Lisa Webster at North Star Sheep Farm for her input. She emailed me right back: "Leg of lamb is a cut which does best roasted and needs its fat layer to keep it from drying out. For slow cookers - we recommend neck, shoulder, and shanks. We would not recommend cutting off the fat on a Leg." I'd like to send you a Lamb Shoulder - no charge - if you would let me know how that cut comes out with your recipe. - Dan

Honestly one of the BEST beef burgers I have ever had! At first I was a bit skeptical with ordering meat online, but boy am I happy that I did! If you are on the fence like I was, please order and try them out. The meat came so nicely packed, no orders at all with shipping and everything came still frozen which was awesome. Once we cooked them we could tell they that this was far from store bought beef. Juicy, fresh and nice beefy flavor. No need to over season, all we used was salt and pepper. This company exceeded our expectations and we have already placed a second order. We will definitely be repeat customers.
