Grass Fed Oxtail - DISCONTINUED
The meat was good & fresh. The company had great communication with me when ups couldn’t deliver as expected because of the New Year, which was fine for me. My slight disappointment was I wanted My meat custom cut in thin slices but they were precut into big chunks in vacuum sealed packs.

Beef Kidney - DISCONTINUED
This is definitely the freshest and best tasting kidney I've managed to find, anywhere. I began eating organ meat for health reasons, and so I often find the kidney and liver meat I eat unappetizing. With Heartstone Farms, the meat is actually pretty delicious. I also notice I feel a lot better, physically, after eating. I'll definitely be purchasing beef heart, liver, and kidney regularly. As an aside - if you're making kidney for the first time, be sure to clear the white fat in the center of the organ, as that's apparently a rather fragrant tissue. Cheers.

Short Rib Plate
Placed the order on a weekend and the item was ready to ship on Monday. Received it the next day at my address in the Boston-area. So fast! It was very well packed and arrived still frozen hard, through-and-through. Tasty delicious meat grilled over hardwood charcoal. Yummm !

This chicken sampler was amazing! It was exactly what our family needed to add to our freezer alongside our beef options. We especially loved the spatchcock chicken. All was so flavorful and juicy! The best chicken we've ever eaten. Thanks, Farmer Dan and your crew!

The Maine Box - Holiday Edition
I used to have a subscription to a different organic beef company but Heartstone Farms beef is so much better. The beef is flavorful, cooks up juicy and tender. I love knowing I am consuming a healthy and humanely raised beef. I will be ordering again soon! I am making a pot roast with the brisket for friends today ~ I know they will love it❤️

Deposit for Quarter Share
We've traveled and lived across the United States and had our share of grass-fed beef and the quality of Farmer Dan's meat is among the best. It's the reason why we invested in a quarter share for the first time. In addition to the high quality the quality of the delivery and shipment was top notch. If you're in Maine or otherwise within delivery range of Farmer Dan, do yourself a favor and make an order. You won't regret it and neither will your family.
