I recently received my first order from Heartstone Farm, the healthy at home box. My family and I are very pleased with the quality of the meat we received. I would highly recommend it and will be reordering soon.

Just great with a little salt & pepper and grilled up to medium rare. My wife and I really enjoy the consistent quality of Heartland products.

Excellent beef and beef liver. As a new customer it is a relief to find good meat in our state. Have tried others and this farm is far superior.

Easy, seamless transaction. I ordered the Grazed in Maine package, and before I knew it, I had a case of meat on my doorstep! And I was intrigued by non-gmo, corn-based packing materials. Yes, I broke a piece off, put in water, and watched it disappear. Wicked cool!

Meat is great. Two thumbs up!

Have been ordering a quarter share for three years, and have enjoyed every cut! It’s great going right past the grocery store beef knowing the beef in my freezer is more tasty and 100% grass fed!

We have been absolutely thrilled with Heartstone Farms. We stated with a small order to try it out and recently purchased a cow quarter share. The customer service is excellent and the quality of the beef and the packaging it is delivered in are A+. We are going to be life time customers going forward. We are already looking forward to purchasing our next share!

Perfect in every way juicy melt in your mouth and flavorful

Haven't had a chance to cook up some dinner with my order from Farmer Dan yet (went right in the freezer)!
But, I will tell you, it was an awesome experience to deal with Dan and the rest of the crew there. Pleasant, REAL, not complicated from order to delivery. ....What's that worth in these times?....
Thanks for the delivery, can't wait to get back home soon and fire it up!
Hope you liked the cookies H.A. baked for you Dan!

I have tried many suppliers for grass fed meat over the years. If Hearthstone Farm stays just like it is, I will definitely stay with them. The products are very high quality, thusly delicious. I looked up the location on the map and it is located in central Maine far from cities and their environmental issues. I have tried most of the cuts that they offer, and everything has been better than I could imagine. Just got my first quarter share. I haven't used much of it yet, but what I have used is consistent with the high quality I've been used to from them. The price was reasonable for what you get and I am secure in my food supply for months. The service is as good as the product. Farmer Dan is a real person. He delivered my share personally. I called the farm once. Don't remember what the issue was, but I got a machine and did not leave a message. Later that day, Farmer Dan called me back. He answered the question I had. He must have gotten my number from caller ID. I hadn't even left a message!!! He definitely cares about his business and his customers.
Great products. Great service. I love doing business with Heartstone Farm.

Kidney, quite frankly is not for everyone. In taste, it can be quite gamy and feral if not sourced from a good supplier. It is not a meat usually served on its own in Western cuisine, although Eastern cuisine there are some splendid dishes. Spicy Korean kidney is very nice indeed.

If you are going to add organ meats to your diet, you need to be careful. The liver and kidneys serve a s a filter, so it can be easy to eat product you would rather not, if you don't take care in selecting your meat.

I would not purchase either liver or kidney from a supermarket.. The risk are simply too great. I know Heartstone's product is free of hormones, antibiotics, and corn, so I can feel good with what I am purchasing. Kidney is not something I will eat every night, but it is rich in nutrients, economical, and adds a challenge to the evening dinner.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a properly made steak and kidney pie.

Had my first quarter share if beef delivered. I was very glad to be able to meet and talk briefly with Farmer Dan. He was very nice and the bed was fantastic. Some of the best Rib eyes that I've ever grilled! I highly recommend!!!

It was the most flavorful and tender chicken ever!

Great product.. 14 Day dry aged burger patties from Hearstone Farm in Charleston Maine. I put in the fridge a day before to thaw the burgers. I got my BBQ grill going to about 350 degrees.. I sprayed the thawed burgers with avocado oil, springled the burgers with fresh ground pepper and sea salt.. I put them on the grill for 7 minutes first side and 5 minutes flipped. I then remove them to a plate and covered them with tinfoil for about 4 minutes. I used a good roll with sliced red onion, sliced roma tomatoes and crunchy lettuce with ketchup, Rayes mustard.. Yummy burgers. will buy again..

There is a difference! This is some of the best tasting beef you will ever have, from cows raised right here in Maine.

Just like their beef, the chicken has the best flavor of anything else I have had. Knowing that the animals have been raised in clean and natural conditions paired with its exceptional flavor make Heartstone farm a no-brainer for my family.

The chicken breast were some of the best I’ve tasted. Knowing they are ‘clean’ makes it even better. I will definitely being buying more and recommending them to others.

Timely delivery, white-glove service to the door! It was hot, so Dan actually didn't want to leave meat on the porch and was asking our neighbors if they could get a hold of us to make sure that meat gets inside quickly. The meat itself is really well packaged. Ground beef is in flat, thin rectangular packages that are super easy to stack in the freezer. Same for steaks and roasts. Taste is what we expected from good grass-fed beef. Really good! We got a 1/4 this year and will probably go for something similar next year.

We were very pleased with first 1/4 share and have just received our second share delivery. The beef tastes great. The mix of cuts in the share is a good variety. The interactions with Farmer Dan have been a pleasure. We look forward to future orders.

This is a great chicken. It’s delicious, healthy, and an easy way to cook. Whole family loves it!!!
