I started buying Heartstone Farm 100% grass fed beef over a year ago and absolutely love it. The flavor and quality is far superior to your ordinary grocery store beef. The price is considerably more, but you get what you pay for!

We have just received our second order of grass fed beef from farmer Dan. Aside from knowing that grass fed beef is healthier for you we have really enjoyed the flavor of the beef.l was a big user of ketchup when eating meat loaf but find the flavor of Heartstone farm beef is so good the ketchup bottle stays in the refrigerator. We also have enjoyed reading about how farmer Dan decided to start raising grass fed cattle.You can feel his passion for his farm and his animals.If you're interested in trying grass fed beef we highly recommend giving Heartstone Farm and Farmer Dan a try. I ordered 10 lbs of Heartstone Farm ground beef and we could not be happier with the taste and quality. My Italian daughter-in-law used some for her fabulous Bolognese, my son made a great big pot of chili and my daughter and her BF made burgers and sliders. My next order is already on its way!

Excellent quality meat with top notch customer service! I have ordered meat twice and both times it was delivered right to my door personally by Dan. The steaks are fork tender and top notch! I don't think we can buy any other beef now since we have tried this. The flavor is deep and rich which matches the color of the meat. You can tell at a glance before you taste it that it's not your regular grocery store meat. But by far what will keep me coming back for more is the flavor and tenderness. Thank you Dan for your time a dedication to bring us wonderful quality meat.

We had talked about buying grass fed beef for a long time, and finally decided to give Heartstone Farms a try. Theyre local, and we found their website easy to navigate and their prices competitive. We ordered a quarter beef, and have been so pleased with our purchase. The packaging makes it easy to know what were getting, and the quality has beef terrific! Im so glad we ordered the soup bones - amazing bone broth! And were also really glad we ordered a large portion of our ground beef in patties .... so convenient!

After trying a small sample package of steaks and burger, we were hooked. We purchased a quarter share last Sept/17. There is absolutely no comparison to grocery store beef. I never had a burger that tasted as good. Boneless Chuck Roast produced the best pot roast ever, brisket was corned and corned beef and pastrami were made, no comparison to store bought, if youre a steak lover we got T-Bones, Porterhouse, flank, ribeye, London broil. The package was splendid. I enjoyed dealing directly with the person who raised this wonderful beef. I would encourage all to try, this is the best beef Ive ever eaten.

This isn't just some cattle mill where they pump out quantity over quality. I recently ordered a quarter share after doing research on many area farms. One of the first aspects that caught my eye was free shipping/delivery to most of Maine, New Hampshire and Eastern Massachusetts. This was a big win for me as transporting that much frozen beef would be a bit of a challenge on my own. Also, instead of only offering shares once or twice a year, he operates more on a rotating monthly rotating schedule, which gives the consumer more options. This is quality beef. Raised responsibly and with care. This summer was a very dry and hot one, which effected the amount of quality grass (which in turn effected the overall growth/weight of the animal). Farmer Dan worked with me to push out my delivery to a later date to ensure the product he was going to deliver met both of our quality expectations. You get what you pay for with Heartstone Farms, quality beef!
