Healthy at home box is a Wonderful box of beef and chicken cuts from Heartstone Farm. Cuts of meat arrive fully frozen in green recyclable packaging. These are beautiful cuts of meat that are so delicious and what a joy to know the farmer is local right here in Maine. There is an incredible difference between these meats that are organic and grass fed compared to industrialized raised cattle. Kudos to Farmer Dan !

We tried the chicken breasts last night and they were amazing! Juicy, flavorful and cut like butter!!

Excellent steak!! Melted like butter in the mouth! Generous sizes... I will never buy a steak in a grocery store again!!

Recently I was looking online for premium meats and saw some of the same old offerings and a few new ones. I found many of the price points ridiculous while others I was familiar with had always left me wanting as I did not consider them good value. I ran across Heartstone Farm and like what I saw and liked the pricing equally as much. One of the items I ordered was the Filet Mignon, so I ordered.. I was not disappointed. The filets arrived well frozen, packed well, and each individually sealed in thick sealed bags. The cuts were generous as well. I pan-seared for a few minutes and then finished them in the oven. The flavor of the meat was nice and beefy. Too often commercial beef lacks the robust flavor I look for as a result of how the animals are fed and treated. One of the most important aspects of raising beef cattle for consumption is how they are finished, meaning, what they are fed until processing. Farmer Dan's livestock is finished properly and it shows in the eating. Heartstone Farms beef tastes like beef is supposed to and is the best value I have found online. I highly recommend them.

The burgers arrived frozen. Once thawed and cooked they were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Heartstone Farm. They are the real deal. You won't be disappointed.

Tender and full of beefy flavor.

We ordered the Chicken Sampler, x2 this time. It really is the best chicken we've ever had! We even did a comparison by cooking a store-bought chicken breast and Farmer Dan's chicken breast together. We both could tell which was which. Store-bought had a lot of fat to cut off, texture was a bit tough, and a bit chewy. Farmer Dan's had no fat on or in the meat, texture was tender, and melted in your mouth. Thus the x2 order this time!

While I am saving this for a day I can share it with my family I gotta say it looks like it’s in perfect condition and every time I open my freezer it makes my mouth water.

I absolutely love the shaved steak. It was perfectly tender and made excellent Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. It is also a wonderful substitute for ground meat in my chili and spaghetti. I ordered nine more pounds today!!

I'm a life-long meat hound turned (mostly)vegan. I still like a good steak a handful of times per year. I was always too cheap to walk into a steak house n pay $50 for a steak. So, I'd never had a good quality, 1.5" thick ribeye, before. O...M...G, they're delicious!! All the years I've wasted eating thin, lesser quality steaks can't be retrieved, sadly. However, I won't go back. Yes, $26 for a steak is a bit pricy (Fair prices IMHO, though). If you love a good steak, though. Buy just one of Dan's ribeyes, n try it. Taste how juicy n flavorful it is, w/an equally-tasty pan-seared crust. Then, you'll know the difference. The local farm I had been buying from currently charges $16/lb for uncertified, supposedly organic beef that wasn't handled as well. I also picked up my steaks. So, that farm didn't have the added expenses of Dan's excellent packing materials or shipping. Dan also sells less expensive cuts of meat. If you love meat? Give yourself a treat. You still may not get your girlfriend to try any, but you'll be happy. Enjoy.

My first time ordering the Health at Home Box. Pleasantly surprised on the packaging and the quality of meats. The Hamburg was very flavorful and the Beef NY Sirloin so tender and juicy. I’ve told several family and friends and will be ordering more packages and select cuts.

I loved the veal shanks that I ordered. I ordered 4 since there is only two of us. We should be able to get four meals out of our order. Last night Valentines Day we cooked our first meal which was delicious. Our local market did not have veal shanks to make osso bunco so I googled veal shanks and saw
Heartstone Farm. Glad I did.

The most flavorful beef I have eaten, but there was too much silver skin still attached which needed to be trimmed. The steaks were cut uneven with one side thinner than the other and one of the 8oz. Steaks came in two pieces.

Simply put a great steak, lean and cuts like butter.
