This is definitely the freshest and best tasting kidney I've managed to find, anywhere. I began eating organ meat for health reasons, and so I often find the kidney and liver meat I eat unappetizing. With Heartstone Farms, the meat is actually pretty delicious. I also notice I feel a lot better, physically, after eating. I'll definitely be purchasing beef heart, liver, and kidney regularly. As an aside - if you're making kidney for the first time, be sure to clear the white fat in the center of the organ, as that's apparently a rather fragrant tissue. Cheers.
