Hi folks, I just tried beef kidney for the first time. I marinaded it for about 2 hours in olive oil & balsamic vinegar, then grilled in hot avocado oil for just a few minutes. Definitely easy to prepare. Not bad, a little bit like liver, My wife couldn't look at it , but my son and I enjoyed it. Next time I'll try mixing bits of it in some hamburger meat. I definitely like eating organ meats they are very healthy & good for you.

Hi Frank - thanks for the review. Our processor puts Julian dates on every package. It’s a 2 or 3 digit number that shows the date the meat was packaged. (For instance “20” would be January 20 and “365” would be December 31.) The USDA requires a date on packaging. The Julian date is the method chosen by our USDA processor. Hope that info is helpful. - Dan

My family and I visited the farm for Open Farm Day and sampled some burgers and immediately tasted the difference.
