I received this lip balm as a free gift so I got to try it. The peppermint smell is not overbearing but just perfect. After reading the glowing reviews of this serum, I purchased this hoping that it would clear up my mild acne and hyperpigmentation. Instead, it caused me to breakout even more. I had previously used tretonion and another retinol serum which I didn't have too many issues with, so my is used to retinol. However, whenever I use this serum it always stings and my face breaks out. The only thing that I liked about the product is the scent and I have noticed a certain brightness to my skin that wasn't there. But the brightness is no good with cystic pimples on my face which seems to be caused by this serum.

This serum feels wonderful. My eye area does feel hydrated but if you're very dry like myself, I'd layer an eye cream or gel on top. I didn't feel an instant tightening like some reviews I've read. I did however feel that sensation the morning after an evening application. I'll have to give it some more time to see an improvement in fine lines. The only downfall of this product is the packaging. Just a fair warning, I went to unscrew the bottle and actually sliced the side of my pointer finger pretty deep on the edge. I'm 35 and don't have fairly thin skin at all. It would be great if their serums came in a glass bottle with a pump instead of a dropper. The packaging won't prevent me from purchasing from them again though, this stuff is great! I'll just be really careful every time I open the bottle.
